2008 Trip - Friday

After an early morning breakfast at the Howey Bay Inn & Restaurant, the group went to Viking to check in. The group was only 45 lbs. over on their equipmentweigh-in. Viking loaded the plane, and the group was off.

The flight left at 7:30, and arrived at Rheaume at 8:45. Gary rode shotgun in the Norsemen, while Ray, Troy and John rode in the back with the equipment. The flight was smooth, and the scenery was fantastic.

The fishermen settled into camp, and hit the lake fishing later that morning. John caught one pike (the first one), and Troy caught eight pike and four walleye. As expected, John went for two swims on shore.

Gary caught nine pike and one walleye, Ray caught three pike. Uncle Ray fell getting out of the boat, and we suspect that he bruised or fractured his rib!

For dinner, the fishermen had burgs, dawgs and brats, and some corn on the cob. After dinner, Ray, John and Gary went to bed early, and Troy did some fishing off the dock, where he caught two more walleye.
