Our Trip - Day 8

LAST DAY OF FISHING!!!

Today the Anglers decided to brave the trip to East Rheaume one last time, and then fish the canals on the way back to Lake Rheaume.

WHAT A DAY!!! Fishing started slow, but then the fishing exploded. Bob, Troy and Uncle Raym were catching lunker Walleye.

The Walleye were getting so large that 19” Walleye seemed small!

When prodded by Uncle Raym and Troy about his thoughts on East Rheume, all Bob could do was smile and change the subject.

We saw a beautiful Bald Eagle on East Rheaume too.

On the last day of fishing, the following fish were caught:

  • Bob - 5 pike, 7 walleye (21” walleye)
  • Uncle Raym – 3 pike, 3 walleye (21” walleye)
  • Troy - 10 pike, 5 walleye
  • Rich – 1 pike, 1 walleye
  • Vern -1 pike, 1 walleye

For breakfast, the anglers had Danish and cereal. For dinner, the anglers had walleye, herbed potatoes and broccoli.
