2008 Trip - Wednesday

For breakfast, the fishermen had eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. It was very tasty!

After breakfast, Gary, Ray and Troy traveled again to East Rheaume for some more walleye fishing (John took the day off to do some hiking, and he went for a boat ride and saw a moose). As expected, the fishing on East Rheaume was fantastic. The fishermen went back to the “honey hole” again and caught at least fifty walleye, with the majority of fish over 21” to 22”.

After a long day of fishing, the three trolled back to Rheaume. On the trip back, Gary landed two pike, Ray caught two pike, and Troy caught four pike and two walleye.

For dinner, the fishermen had breaded walleye, baked beans, pickled beets, and corn. After dinner, the fishermen settled in for a night of poker playing and whiskey drinking. In the late evening, Troy and John snuck out to enjoy the Northern Lights again, which were fantastic.
